How do I book you for a job?

Can I afford you? What are your rates?
Yes. If you are looking to hire a voice talent chances are you have a budget in mind. I would be more than happy to discuss your project and your budget. Together we can come up with a plan that works for everyone. You can also view my rates here.
How should I prepare my script?
If you need your script to be a certain length just try reading it out loud with a watch before you send it. Be realistic about content and timing. If you can’t fit your copy into 30 seconds chances are I won’t be able to either! 😉
Spell out odd words, names, places, web sites, etc phonetically so that I know how it is to be pronounced. For example do you want your web site addressed delivered as dot O-R-G or .org.
Will you do a custom demo?
Of course I will provide a custom demo for your project. Thanks for asking! At the end of the day I want you to be content with your finished product and that means finding the right voice and delivery. If you provide me with a sample of your script I will gladly provide you with a short demo.

Can I get a retake on my audio?
Of course you can. It’s your project and it’s important that you are totally satisfied. If you’d like to tweak the read or the delivery a bit we can certainly do that.
If you need a retake because you’ve decided to alter the scrip, then additional fees may apply.
How will you deliver my finished audio?
In most cases delivering you audio by email is the easiest. If email does not work for you, or if the file size is large I can also deliver via Dropbox or secure FTP.
If you’d prefer a hard copy of your audio I can also send a CD by mail or courier.
How I pay for my audio?
I prefer PayPal as it’s easy and convenient and you can get an account for free. I will also take cheque or money order if necessary.
What is your turnaround?
Because I work full-time as a Voice Talent I’m able to offer quick turnaround. In many cases I can complete your project in 2-8 hours, depending on the length and when I receive the script. Otherwise, I always do my best to deliver in 24 hours or less.
For longer projects, such as eLearning narrations, the delivery time may be longer due to script size. In this case, we can agree on a mutually acceptable delivery deadline.

Are you union?
No. At this time I am not part of a union and work independently.
What audio formats do you use?
I can provide you with finished and edited high quality audio in WAV, MP3 of AIFF format.
If you need a different format let me know and I can see if I can make it happen.
